According to the invention, a control target apparatus receives, from a control point apparatus, a message that requests the control target apparatus to move to a second network while connected to a first network. The control target apparatus transmits a message for notifying network movement to the control point apparatus of the first network. The control target apparatus releases the connection thereof to the first network, and connects to the second network. The control point apparatus collects information relating to a plurality of control target apparatuses connected to a plurality of networks. If the network of one control target apparatus selected from among the plurality of control target apparatuses is different from the network of the control point apparatus, the control point apparatus is connected to the network of the selected control target apparatus.
