Abstract:
A control circuit (50) is applied to a system provided with: a multi-phase rotating electric machine (10); and a power converter (15) having the switches (SWH, SWL) of upper and lower arms electrically connected to the winding (11) of each phase of the rotating electric machine. The control circuit comprises: a determination unit (82) for determining whether or not to perform short-circuit control in which the switch of any one of the upper and lower arms is turned on and the switch of the other arm is turned off; a drive unit (71a, 72a) having a plurality of voltage terminals (T1 to T4) to which a voltage signal for transmitting information about the switches is input and driving the switches on the basis of the voltage signal input through the voltage terminals; and a signal transmission unit (83) which, when it is determined by the determination unit that the short-circuit control is performed, inputs a short-circuit command to at least two voltage terminals of the respective voltage terminals. The drive unit performs the short-circuit control when the short-circuit command is input to at least one voltage terminal of the respective voltage terminals.
