Abstract:
This control device for an AC rotary machine is provided with the following: an AC-rotary-machine control means that uses AC-rotary-machine position information to create a voltage-command vector so as to make a detected-current vector equal to a current-command vector; a voltage application means that applies a voltage to the AC rotary machine on the basis of the aforementioned voltage-command vector; a secondary-magnetic-flux-vector calculation means that calculates a secondary-magnetic-flux vector for the AC rotary machine; and an adaptive observation means that determines and outputs an estimated rotational position and an estimated speed in accordance with the abovementioned voltage-command vector, the abovementioned detected-current vector, and the aforementioned secondary-magnetic-flux vector. Via a switchable gain, the adaptive observation means can switch between using and not using the secondary-magnetic-flux vector, and the adaptive observation means has a compensation means that compensates for fluctuations that occur in the estimated speed when said switchable gain is switched.
