Abstract:
This controller is a control device for an automatic transmission that is provided in a vehicle and has a stepped speed-change mechanism (30), wherein the controller detects and determines interlocking of the stepped speed-change mechanism (30) if interlock detection conditions are met. The controller transmits an instruction to set the stepped speed-change mechanism (30) to neutral if interlocking is detected and determined. Furthermore, in spite of the transmission of said neutral instruction, the controller determines an interlock abnormality in the stepped speed-change mechanism (30) if the stepped speed-change mechanism (30) is in a power transmission state.
