Abstract:
Disclosed is a control device for automatic transmission that: sets, for example, a target end time (TA) and a target turbine rotational velocity (Nttarg) at said target end time (TA) during slip control, when said slip control is used to engage a clutch and make a vehicle take off after changing an automatic transmission from a neutral state to a standby state; calculates a rotation change amount (ω) of an output rotational velocity (Nout) based on said settings; calculates inertia torque (Iω) based on said rotation change amount (ω); calculates the clutch (C-1) torque capacity (TCl) from the total of the input torque from an engine (2) and inertia torque; and controls the clutch (C-1) engagement pressure (PCl) so as to achieve the calculated torque capacity (TCl). As a result, the output rotational velocity (Nout) is increased and the gear ratio for forward drive first gear is achieved without reducing the turbine rotational velocity (Nt) to lower than at the end of the standby control, thereby reducing both variation in inertial force at takeoff and aftershocks.
