Abstract:
Provided is a control device for an automatic transmission, equipped with an automatic gear-shifting mode, in which gears are selected automatically on the basis of the state of travel of a vehicle and a manual gear-shifting mode in which the gears are selected on the basis of the output of an up-shift instruction means or a down-shift instruction means, wherein, when the current gear is a prescribed gear or higher, a prescribed duration for maintaining the manual gear-shifting mode is set to be shorter in a case where the up-shift instruction means has been operated than in a case where the down-shift instruction means has been operated (S10-S18).
