Abstract:
This control device comprises: a reception unit that receives state information indicating a state pertaining to playback of a video represented by video data in a reception device that receives, from a distribution server, distribution data including video data; a generation unit that generates, on the basis of the state information received by the reception unit, designation information for designating a request for the data amount of the video data to be transmitted per unit time by the distribution server, said request being a request for the reception device to transmit to the distribution server; and a provision unit that provides, to the reception device, the designation information generated by the generation unit.
