Title:
CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/009729
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a control device for an electric parking brake, which enables improved responsiveness of an electric actuator to a new actuation request received during the ongoing execution of an apply process, etc. and accurately determines the operation of the electric actuator. The control device for an electric parking brake can implement an apply process for urging a friction member against a rotational element which is rotating as a unit with a wheel, a release process for disengaging the friction member from the rotational element, an operation change disable process for disabling a change in the operation of the electric actuator to be carried out in response to and on the basis of a new actuation request for a predetermined duration (T1) from the start of the apply process, and an operation change process for enabling a change in the operation of the electric actuator to be carried out on the basis of a new actuation request, after the elapse of the predetermined duration (T1) from the start of the apply process. The predetermined duration (T1) is longer than a period of time (T11) between the start of the apply process and the onset of the operation of the electric actuator and shorter than a period of time (T12) between the start of the apply process and the contact of the friction member with the rotational element.
