Abstract:
The present invention provides a machine tool, and a control device for the machine tool, with which it is possible to execute reciprocation vibration with consideration for the vibration frequency, and in which it is possible for the degree of freedom of workpiece processing to increase and vibration cutting to be performed using an external spindle or the like without rotating the main shaft. A machine tool (100), and a control device (10) for the machine tool (100), in which a virtual main shaft regarded as a main shaft (110) for rotating a workpiece W or a cutting tool (130) is provided to a control means (11), and the control means (11) determines the speed of rotation of the virtual main shaft and the number of reciprocation vibrations per rotation of the virtual main shaft according to the vibration frequency attributable to the period in which an operation command is possible.
