Abstract:
A control device (1) of a machine tool (10) is provided with a storage unit (11) for storing three-dimensional basic shape data, a region setting unit (14) for creating an interference check region of an auxiliary mechanism (9) on a table (4) from the basic shape data, and setting the interference check region in a prescribed setting region surrounding the auxiliary mechanism (9), and an input unit (12) into which setting values of a plurality of setting items for determining each position on a plurality of boundary surfaces of the interference check region are input by an operator, wherein: the plurality of setting items include at least one non-essential item for which input of a setting value is not essential; the region setting unit (14) sets the interference check region on the basis of the setting values input into the input unit (12); and if a non-input item, which is a non-essential item for which a setting value has not been input, exists, the region setting unit (14) sets the boundary surface determined by the non-input item to a prescribed end of the setting region.
