Abstract:
This control device comprises: in-vehicle communication units, which communicate with an onboard control device; and a control unit which controls the transfer of an update program for a control program by the in-vehicle communication units to the onboard control device. The control unit controls the in-vehicle communication units so as to allocate the update program to multiple communication pathways leading from a host station to the onboard control device, and then to transfer the allocated update program in parallel to the onboard control device.
