Abstract:
A vehicle control device that controls the cooling state of a dynamo-electric machine to at least a first cooling state and a second cooling state, which are different, during the stop period of a vehicle equipped with the dynamo-electric machine. During the startup processing of the vehicle, this vehicle control device calculates the temperature change of the rotor of the dynamo-electric machine in the first cooling state and the second cooling state on the basis of a second heat parameter relating to the temperature in the second cooling state and a first heat parameter relating to the temperature in the first cooling state during the stop period, as well as the time of the first cooling state and the second cooling state.
