Abstract:
Provided is a control device used to shorten the time required to implement a focusing state, the device comprising: a position detection unit, which detects the position of a lens; and a control unit, which makes the lens move in a first direction along an optical axis, acquires an image by means of the lens, acquires a contrast evaluation value from the image, stores a correspondence between the contrast evaluation value and the position of the lens in a memory, reads the correspondence from the memory after detecting the focusing position of the lens from the contrast evaluation value, and moving the lens in a second direction opposite to the first direction to a position of the lens corresponding to the focusing position.
