Abstract:
A control device (500) comprising a selection unit (550) that, while a first mobile body housing a first article is present at a receiving location where the first article and a second article are received and once a second mobile body housing the second article arrives at the receiving location, selects either the first mobile body or the second mobile body as a remaining mobile body to house the first and second articles and remain at the receiving location and selects the other as a departing mobile body that will leave the receiving location. In addition, the control device (500) comprises a storage control unit (560) that: specifies the first article or the second article housed in the selected departing mobile body as a transshipment article to be transshipped from the departing mobile body to the remaining mobile body; and causes the specified transshipment article to be stored in the remaining mobile body. The control device (500) also comprises a travel control unit (540) that removes the departing mobile body from the receiving location once the transshipment article has been stored in the remaining mobile body.
