Abstract:
According to an embodiment, provided is a control device for controlling a power converter which can be connected to a terminal of a DC power transmission system for transmitting power according to a set current command value. The control device is provided with a first characteristic setting unit. The first characteristic setting unit has an output terminal voltage having a preset first characteristic in accordance with current current-controlled on the basis of a current command value set at the power receiving end of the DC power transmission system when a current command value is set at the power transmission end of the DC power transmission system. The first characteristic is such that the output terminal voltage monotonically decreases with respect to the current-controlled current.
