Abstract:
The present invention is a control device for a power converter with which a ripple component in direct-current voltage can be suppressed. The power converter converts a direct-current voltage (Vdc) containing a ripple component (Vdch) into an alternating-current voltage, and outputs the alternating-current voltage to a synchronous electric motor. The control device for the power converter is equipped with a ripple component detection unit (6) and a control circuit (3). The ripple component detection unit (6) detects the ripple component (Vdch). The control circuit (3) controls the power converter and increases the load angle of the synchronous electric motor in accordance with an increase in an instantaneous value of the ripple component (Vdch).
