Abstract:
Provided is a control device for a printer-equipped digital camera comprising a camera unit for taking an image of a subject and successively outputting images representing the subject, and a printer unit for printing an image taken on a print medium in accordance with a photography instruction, the control device comprising at least one processor. The processor: recognizes a first act performed by a person to be photographed who is in a photography area of the camera unit and included in the subject, the first act being performed to provide a photography/printing instruction serving as both a photography instruction and an image printing instruction; upon recognizing the first act, causes the camera unit to perform a photography operation for outputting an image to be printed; recognizes a second act performed by the person to be photographed who is in the photography area, the second act being performed to provide a print terminating instruction for the image to be printed; upon failing to recognize the second act within a predetermined print standby period, causes the printer unit to print the image to be printed; and, upon recognizing the second act within the print standby period, instructs the printer unit to terminate printing of the image to be printed.
