Abstract:
When an abnormality in a torque-sensor output signal is detected, the amplitude of a steering-angle-sensor output signal and/or a motor-rotation-angle signal is increased or decreased, and a motor command signal is outputted on the basis of an alternative signal to the torque-sensor output signal, said alternative signal being calculated on the basis of the steering-angle-sensor output signal and/or the motor-rotation-angle signal which have had the amplitudes thereof adjusted.
