Disclosed are a control method of an air conditioner, a storage medium, a control apparatus, and an air conditioner, the control method of an air conditioner comprising: if the indoor ambient temperature is below a first threshold, controlling the air conditioner to enter a high-temperature protection monitoring mode (S101); in the high-temperature protection monitoring mode, and if the indoor ambient temperature temperature is above a second threshold, controlling the air conditioner to implement a high-temperature protection mode, so that the air conditioner shuts down (S102); wherein, the value of the second threshold is greater than the first threshold.
