Abstract:
A control method and a control apparatus for starting an application. The method comprises: receiving information for triggering the starting of a second application, transmitted by a first application (310); according to at least one of the information of the first application and the current available resource quantity in a system, determining whether the starting of the second application needs to be restricted; the information of the first application being used for indicating the degree of importance of the first application in the system (320); when it is determined that the starting of the second application needs to be restricted, restricting the starting of the second application (330). The described method and apparatus can reduce resource waste caused by the starting of an application frequently triggered by other applications, thereby improving system performance.
