Abstract:
Provided is a control method for an automated analysis device including a liquid chromatograph in which a plurality of analysis flow paths are provided in parallel, wherein a deterioration in throughput and an increase in solvent consumption due to solvent replacement are avoided. A determination is performed to determine which of a plurality of analysis flow paths 105 to 107 to use to introduce each of a plurality of separation processes employing mutually different types of a solvent with a time difference therebetween, and a comparison is carried out between a solvent to be used for the next separation process to be performed at a timing after the start of the plurality of separation processes for which introduction with mutual time differences has been determined, and each of the solvents to be used for the plurality of separation processes for which introduction with mutual time differences has been determined. It is determined whether a solvent replacement process is required for the analysis flow paths 105 to 107 used for the plurality of separation processes, and in accordance with the determination, the analysis flow path to be used for the next separation process, from among the plurality of analysis flow paths 105 to 107, is determined and an analysis schedule is created.
