Title:
CONTROL METHOD FOR DERMANYSSUS GALLINAE AND DERMANYSSUS GALLINAE PROTEIN TO BE USED THEREIN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/182754
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a control method for Dermanyssus gallinae, said method comprising inducing an immune reaction against D. gallinae in livestock; a vaccine antigen usable therefor; and a vaccine against D. gallinae. [Solution] A method for inducing an immune reaction specific to D. gallinae in livestock, said method comprising a step for administering to the livestock a protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1, a protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2 and/or an immunological equivalent thereof. According to the present invention, an immune reaction specific to D. gallinae can be induced in livestock and thus the function of target molecules in the body of D. gallinae having sucked blood can be inhibited, which enables controlling of D. gallinae.
