Abstract:
The present invention is such that, in a control method for a charging/discharging device which charges and discharges a vehicle battery, a computer acquires a current SOC value of the battery, acquires historical information related to past electric power usage in the vehicle, and inputs historical information acquired by a learned model which has learned the relationship between past electric power usage of the vehicle and the necessary amount of electric power for the next time the vehicle is used, the computer thereby acquiring forecast information relating to the necessary amount of electric power, and then determining whether the current SOC value is larger than the optimal SOC value for suppressing deterioration of the battery, and, if the computer has determined that the current SOC value is larger than the optimal SOC value, the computer calculates, on the basis of the optimal SOC value and prediction information, a target SOC value for the battery during discharging of the battery, and outputs, to the charging/discharging device, control information instructing discharging from the battery to electric equipment outside the vehicle until the SOC value of the battery reaches the target value.
