A control method and a control device for a smart home appliance group. The control method comprises: acquiring an authorization instruction used to authorize the use of a work environment, wherein the authorization instruction comprises information of a control terminal allowed to use the work environment, and authorization level information; acquiring information of a smart home appliance group working in the work environment, wherein the smart home appliance group comprises one or more smart home appliances; allocating, according to the authorization level information, use permissions to the respective smart home appliances in the smart home appliance group; acquiring a control instruction received by a smart home appliance; and verifying the control instruction according to the information of the control terminal and the use permissions, and upon successful verification, enabling the smart home appliance to execute the control instruction.
