Abstract:
Various embodiments disclosed in the present specification pertain to a control method of an IoT-based home appliance, the control method comprising: a step of measuring a first distance between a terminal and a first IoT module connected to any one of a plurality of home appliances; a step of measuring a second distance between the terminal and a second IoT module connected to another one of the plurality of home appliances; a distance comparison step for comparing the first distance and the second distance to each other; and after the distance comparison step, setting any one IoT module from among the first IoT module and the second IoT module as a communication gateway on the basis of the comparison between the first distance and the second distance.
