Abstract:
A control method for realizing multicast and broadcast services in the wireless communication system comprises the following steps: (a) MBS controller sends the request of MBS services stream increase to the MBS server controlling plane process unit, triggers the MBS server controlling plane process unit to send a MBS services establishing request to the MBS signaling process unit, the access network sends a dynamic service stream increase request to the terminal; (b) the terminal returns a dynamic service stream increase response message to the access network, the MBS signaling process unit sends the MBS services establishing response to the MBS server controlling plane process unit; (c) the MBS server controlling plane process unit returns a MBS services stream increase response to the MBS controller, and at the same time, it interacts with the multicast router by message to request the multicast group to join in; (d) the MBS services data stream is sent from the multicast router to the terminal. The present method can utilize the core network resources of other existed system effectively, thus saves spending for the provider.
