Abstract:
According to the present method for controlling the frequency response of a filter (F) that processes audio signals, the frequency response is defined by an amplitude characteristic and a phase characteristic. A target amplitude characteristic, a target phase characteristic and a latency value are acquired (S4 to S6). A first frequency response is acquired depending on the target amplitude characteristic and the target phase characteristic (S7). A second frequency response is acquired by processing the first frequency response such that a latency of the first frequency response satisfies the latency value (S8). A third frequency response to be set for the filter (F) is acquired by correcting the second frequency response such that a difference between the amplitude characteristic of the second frequency response and the target amplitude characteristic decreases (S9).
