Abstract:
Provided is a control system (1) for a construction machine (10) that uses a portable key (50). The control system (1) includes the portable key (50), a controller (20), and an open/close detector (13). The portable key (50) is carried by a crew member and transmits an authentication signal. The controller (20) determines whether or not the portable key (50) corresponds to the construction machine (10) on the basis of the authentication signal detected in a key detection range, and renders a drive source (35) of the construction machine (10) in a startable state when correspondence is determined. The open/close detector (13) detects an open state in which an opening part of a cabin is open and a closed state in which the opening part is closed. The controller (50) sets the key detection range to a first key detection range in the closed state, and sets the key detection range to a second key detection range smaller than the first key detection range in the open state.
