Abstract:
In an in-vehicle device for which automatic operation is not possible independently and assistance is required, both the guarantee of safety regarding vehicle control and improvement in availability are established. This control system 0 for addressing the aforementioned problem is configured from a timepoint-synchronized onboard device 1 and coordination device 2, wherein the control system 0 has a unit for calculating the timespan over which travel is allowed 225 that calculates the allowed timespan for travel over which it is guaranteed that there will be no collision with any obstacle on a travel trajectory within a designated region through which a vehicle installed with the in-vehicle device 1 passes, a travelability assessment unit 13 that assesses the validity of the timespan over which travel is allowed, and a trajectory tracking unit 14 that allows the onboard device 1 to track the travel trajectory when the timespan over which travel is allowed is assessed to be valid.
