Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the amount of power consumed in a power conversion system. In the present invention, a power conversion system (3) includes an inverter circuit (33). The inverter circuit (33) performs interconnected operation and autonomous operation. In autonomous operation, the inverter circuit (33) can output converted alternating-current power via terminals (331) to loads (71, 72) that are separated from a power system (PS1). A control unit (21), when the inverter circuit (33) is performing autonomous operation, controls the power conversion system (3) in a first mode for applying an alternating-current voltage to the terminals (331) in a first time slot and controls the power conversion system (3) in a second mode which includes control for stopping the operation for applying the alternating-current voltage to the terminals (331) in a second time slot differing from the first time slot.
