Abstract:

The present disclosure addresses the problem of achieving a reduction in the time until a breaker starts operating. A control system (800) controls a breaker (910). The breaker (910) is started up by a start-up electrical current that flows in an auxiliary electrical circuit (920) and that has an electrical current value equal to or higher than a predetermined value, thereby shutting off a main electrical circuit (930). The control system (800) is provided with a driving unit (2) and a driven unit (1). The driving unit (2) includes an intermediate electrical circuit (210) connected to the main electrical circuit (930). The driven unit (1) is connected to the auxiliary electrical circuit (920). When an abnormal electrical current having an electrical current value equal to or higher than a prescribed value flows in the intermediate electrical circuit (210), the driving unit (2) uses the abnormal electrical current flowing in the intermediate electrical circuit (210) as a drive source for driving the driving unit (2). The driven unit (1) supplies the start-up electrical current to the auxiliary electrical circuit (920) as a result of being driven by the driving unit (2).
