Abstract:
A factory has installed therein a manufacturing apparatus (300) for manufacturing a workpiece, the manufacturing quality of which changes due to the influence of the temperature inside of the factory and the humidity inside of the factory. A controller (100) comprises: a storage unit (120) for storing energy consumption information (124) which indicates a correlation between a target temperature inside of the factory, a target humidity inside of the factory, and the energy consumption of an air conditioning apparatus (200); a setting reception unit (154) for receiving a setting in a permissible range for a combination of the target temperature and the target humidity indicated in the energy consumption information (124); a specification unit (156) for specifying, from the energy consumption information (124), the target temperature and the target humidity combination which is in the permissible range and for which the energy consumption is smallest as a setting value for the air conditioning apparatus (200); and an air conditioning control unit (158) for controlling the air conditioning apparatus (200) on the basis of the specified setting value.
