Abstract:
A controller of a driver for a vehicle for transmitting part of power from an engine electrically using an electric path in which a cooling system can be reduced in size by reducing a burden on an apparatus related to the electric path or suppressing temperature rise thereof. When transmission of electric energy by the electric path is thermally limited at a differential section (11), the differential section (11) is brought into non-differential state or a changeover clutch (C0) or a changeover brake (B0) is brought into semi-engaging state by an electric energy suppression control means (84) and thereby reaction torque against engine torque TE which must be served by a first motor (M1) is suppressed. Since power generation of the first motor (M1) is reduced and electric energy is also reduced, temperature rise of the apparatuses related to the electric path is suppressed and a cooling system cooling them can be reduced in size. Furthermore, burden on the apparatus related to the electric path can be reduced.
