A controller function updating method and system, a vehicle, and a server. The method is applied to a vehicle, and comprises: by means of a gateway controller in the vehicle, receiving at least one target function packet sent by a server (S110); broadcasting the received at least one target function packet by means of the gateway controller, so that vehicle-mounted controllers in the vehicle receive the at least one target function packet (S120); and by means of each vehicle-mounted controller, parsing the received at least one target function packet on the basis of a preset packet parsing mode matched with a preset packet generating mode, and performing function updating on the current vehicle-mounted controller on the basis of target vehicle-mounted function configuration information matched with the current vehicle-mounted controller, said information being obtained by parsing (S130). Therefore, dynamic controller function updating is realized, the accuracy of function updating is ensured, and the flexibility of controller function updating can also be improved.
