Abstract:
A controller of a vehicle comprises a total energy calculation means for calculating total energy being fed to an internal combustion engine, a various-energy calculation means built in a vehicle to calculate various energy quantities for every assumed combination by assuming a plurality of combinations of operational conditions of each element, the operational conditions affecting various energy quantities consumed by a vehicle, and a control means for controlling each element such that a combination for minimizing the ratio between loss energy quantities in various energy quantities and the total energy quantities is selected from among the above combinations so that the operation of each element satisfies the selected combination.
