Abstract:
A conversion method according to the present disclosure is a conversion method for converting an objective function of combination optimization related to encoding/decoding to an Ising model format, wherein: a first transformation is used to remove a modulo-2 operation from the objective function; a second transformation is used to replace a first variable included in the objective function and having to be optimized with a second variable corresponding to Ising spin; and a third transformation is used to reduce the degree with respect to the second variable of the objective function, thereby converting the objective function to the Ising model format.
