Abstract:
A person can convert a chair into a chair with knee support without standing up, by swivelling backwards the pair of plates (5) around the axis (7), thus causing the seating surface (1), which is also secured to the lever (6) to move backwards. At the same time the knee support (2) is folded up forward. The back (3) is lowered and is brought into the correct inclined position by the lever (13).
