Abstract:
This conveyance system comprises: a plurality of conveyance vehicles that travel along a track and convey loads; and a controller that controls the travel of the plurality of conveyance vehicles. The track includes a first main track, and a plurality of branch tracks connected to the first main track via different merging points. The controller executes start control to start each conveyance vehicle stopped at a stop position of each of the plurality of branch tracks toward the first main track for each of the plurality of branch tracks. In the start control, depending on the presence or absence of the conveyance vehicle in a predetermined section on the track, the start of at least one of conveyance vehicles stopped at the stop position of each of the plurality of branch tracks is prohibited.
