Abstract:
This conveyor conveys tablets (9) along conveyance paths each having an arc-shaped conveyance path that faces obliquely downward. This conveyor has a conveyance drum (31), a supply feeder (24), a tablet sensor (71), a drop stopper mechanism (72), and a control unit (10). A plurality of storage portions (310) which are equally spaced along each conveyance path so as to store the tablets (9) are provided on the outer surface (311) of the conveyance drum (31). The drop stopper mechanism (72) prevents the tablets (9) in the supply feeder (24) from dropping. The tablet sensor (71) detects the tablets (9) at a position in the supply feeder (24) above the drop stopper mechanism (72). The control unit (10) prevents the tablets (9) from dropping using the tablet sensor (71) if no tablet (9) is detected during a predetermined time period by the tablet sensor (71).
