Abstract:
A rice cooker includes: first and second stirring arms for stirring an ingredient to be heated; a motor (24) that causes the first and second stirring arms to rotate; and a motor control unit (25) that controls the rotation of the motor (24) so that the first and second stirring arms rotate a plurality of times in the normal direction of rotation. The motor control unit (25) controls the rotation of the motor (24) so that for every rotation, the first and second stirring arms rotate in a direction of rotation that is opposite the normal direction of rotation after or before rotation in the normal direction of rotation.
