Abstract:
The cooking device according to the embodiments makes it possible to suitably expedite cooking. A cooking device that heats food, the cooking device comprising: a sensor unit that includes a plurality of detection elements that detect the amounts of substances that are causing odors in the air around the food; a determination part that, on the basis of a plurality of detection signals that have been outputted from the sensor unit, determines odors that are coming from the food; and a cooking control part that continuously acquires determination results for the odors of the food and performs predetermined control when, after heating of the food has begun, the odors that are coming from the food have changed in conformity with a prerecorded pattern.
