Abstract:
Provided is a cooking device in which oil 11a is stored in an oil reservoir tank 11 provided in a device body 10 and which cooks by heating food using the oil 11a, the cooking device including a heater 12 which heats the oil 11a in the oil reservoir tank 11, and an overheated steam generator 13 and a fan 14 which, when the oil 11a is heated to 120°C or higher by the heater 12, supply generated overheated steam into the device body 10. The overheated steam generator 13 and the fan 14 preferably supply the overheated steam into the device body 10 and reduce the oxygen concentration in the device body 10.
