Abstract:
This coolant device can efficiently separate sludge-like fine chips from a coolant, and does not use a filter that becomes waste. The chips in the coolant passed through a first vessel 202A and a second vessel 202B are attracted to a permanent magnet 307B of an endless chain 302B, and discharged into a chip box 308. A magnetic force of a permanent magnet 307A of an endless chain 302A is set stronger than a magnetic force of the permanent magnet 307B of the endless chain 302B. Therefore, the fine chips in the coolant passing through a third vessel 202C and a fourth vessel 202D can be attracted to the permanent magnet 307A of the endless chain 302A, and discharged into the chip box 308. Consequently, when the coolant passed through the fourth vessel 202D flows into a sub coolant tank 105, a coolant pump 107 supplies the coolant in the sub coolant tank 105 to a magnetic in-line filter 10 so as to further purify the coolant.
