Abstract:
Provided is a coolant preheating device for a machine tool, the coolant preheating device being provided with: a coolant tank that contains coolant recovered from the machine tool; a pump that supplies coolant from the coolant tank; and a return pipe that does not supply coolant discharged from the pump to the machine tool but rather returns the same to the coolant tank. The coolant preheating device is configured such that coolant that has been supplied from the coolant tank and preheated by using lost heat produced by the pump is circulated to the coolant tank via the return pipe.
