Abstract:
Cooling device (1) comprising a body (2), at least one shelf (3) that is disposed inside the body (2) and whereon the foodstuffs are placed, a housing (4) that is disposed on the shelf (3), and a control unit (12). A thermoelectric module (5) is disposed into the housing (4) which performs heat transfer between itself and the foodstuff placed onto the shelf (3). The thermoelectric module (5) provides generation of energy thus enabling the user to be alerted by means of audio and/or visual warning means when hot foodstuff is placed onto the shelf (3).
