Abstract:
A cooling device (L,Q) located in the middle of finish rolling stands includes a manifold (1,34) and several rows of nozzles (2,36) arranged along the manifold (1,34) and in communication with the manifold (1,34). The cooling device (L,Q) also includes several valve devices, each of which is provided corresponding to each row of the nozzles (2,36), and several drive devices, each of which is connected to the corresponding valve device. The drive devices can drive the valve devices to movably block the communication between each row of the nozzles (2,36) and the manifold (1,34). The cooling device (L,Q) can vary the cooling water amount according to the different cooling requirements along the width direction of the finish rolling strip, so as to adjust the cooling area of the cooling water along the width direction of the strip and to overcome the defect of the prior art that the non-uniform cooling distribution can not be adjusted along the width direction of the strip.
