Abstract:
Provided are a heat exchanger capable of having both good air-conditioning performance and energy-saving properties during cooling and heating operations, and a cooling and heating air-conditioning system using the heat exchanger. The cooling and heating air-conditioning system is provided with an outdoor unit upstream heat exchanger having an internal space divided into two and an outside unit downstream heat exchanger that is disposed in parallel to the outdoor unit upstream heat exchanger and has a single internal space. The system is characterized in that: a high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant is made to circulate through all of the internal spaces of the outdoor unit upstream heat exchanger during cooling operation; and a high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant and a low-temperature low-pressure refrigerant are made to circulate through the lower-side and the upper-side of the divided internal space, respectively, during heating operation.
