Abstract:
A cooperative positioning method and apparatus are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a cooperative positioning method performed by a target device, the cooperative positioning method comprising the steps of: scanning beacon signals transmitted by at least one peripheral device; measuring a distance from the at least one peripheral device on the basis of the beacon signal; determining whether there is at least one peripheral device within a reference radius; when there is at least one peripheral device within the reference radius, transmitting a cooperative positioning request to the at least one peripheral device; receiving, from the at least one peripheral device, a reliability corresponding to an estimated position of the at least one peripheral device; and determining the estimated position as the position of the target device on the basis of the reliability.
