Abstract:
The present specification discloses: a copolymer which is obtained by reacting a diglycerol fatty acid ester represented by general formula (1) with isophorone diisocyanate and which has a weight average molecular weight of 3,500-100,000; and a cosmetic composition containing said copolymer. (In the formula, R1 represents an alkyl group having 8-24 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 8-24 carbon atoms, X1 to X3 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a group represented by -C(=O)R2, and R2 represents an alkyl group having 8-24 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 8-24 carbon atoms. However, at least one of X1 to X3 is a hydrogen atom.)
