Abstract:

Provided is a cordierite ceramic that contains a cordierite crystal phase as the primary crystal phase and 13.2 to 13.8 mass% of Mg in terms of MgO, 26.0 to 32.1 mass% of Al in terms of Al2O3, 1.6 to 4.6 mass% of Bi in terms of Bi2O3, 1.5 to 6.8 mass% of B in terms of B2O3, and 49.4 to 51.4 mass% of Si in terms of SiO2.
